The US Gold Eagle is 22k (.916) and not taxed…

Make sure you buy pure metals ie: 24 karat gold (.9999).

This isn’t taxed by the Feds.

They accept bank wires only from Canada, but that’s OK it’s a good deal.

I’d rather see it in my not so greedy hand

  7. huskerbird1 said:

Do they ship it to ya or hold it?

  8. StrafingMoose said:

Damn, they’re taking personal checks. Good thing, since certified checks are an hassle for me to get. Woo!

STRAFINGMOOSE – Use a check anyway. No reason to pay the extra for the credit card.

Boy, I’d love to see what that vid looks like. lol

Yeah…but for me at my bank, they charge a rather large fee for even doing the wire transfer..so I’m really no better off. I usually just end up using Paypal for a direct withdrawal from my checking account. It’s much easier and smoother that way, with no fees too.

The spot price is the base market value of something, like an oz of gold or silver. The price OVER SPOT, sometimes called a “premium,” is what the dealer charges to make a profit. It can vary depending on what price over spot THEY paid the mint. Hope that helps! =^[.]^=

I dunno, there’s high volume at the highs on the UUP. I think I’ll wait for a lower price.

Silver will fluctuate wildly up and down, but in the long run it will be up, up and away. The US is now printing money to pay for the deficit. This WILL eventually cause hyperinflation. In Germany silver went from 12 m to 87,000,000,000 m in 4 years(1919-1923). This is because the German fiat money became worthless.

It makes sense to sell silver when prices are going up and buy when prices are falling because the dollar value is going up.

The reason is that the dollar will not collapse when it’s going down, it will collapse when it’s going up because it hurts debtors and the biggest debtor is the US gov. If the dollar goes up in value the less the government makes in taxes to pay it’s debt.

Thanks for the reminder. I may walk down to my bank and buy some Leafs on Monday.

Sad thing is that my province puts a tax on metals so I lose 5% off the top.
